View object metadata

Acrobat 7.0 lets you view the metadata information of certain images, tags, and objects within a PDF document. An item’ s metadata is created in the application that made the image and can’t be edited in Acrobat.

You use the TouchUp Object tool to view metadata of images, tags, and objects, and the Object Data tool to view object data of Microsoft Visio custom properties. To select the Object Data tool, choose Tools > Object Data > Object Data tool. Place the pointer over an object and click when the pointer changes to a cross hair; the Object Data window displays information about the item. If the pointer doesn’t change to a cross hair, then the item doesn’t contain Visio object data.
